KISS Lions won the inter-school tag rugby championship, beating Nandankanan Foxes 8-7 in the final at KISS campus in Bhubaneswar today.
In the semifinals, Lions defeated Tapoban Cheetans 5-3 and Foxes beat KISS Bengal Tigers 7-5.
Eight teams participated in the tournament, KIIT Rhinos, Utkalmani Leopards, Padasahi Mongooes and Sri Aurobindo Sharks.
The tournament was conducted by Tag Rugby Development Trust, United Kingdom. KIIT founder Dr A Samant and Tourism Minister Devi Mishra inaugurated the event.
